All orders are dispatched from our Perth warehouse using trusted courier partners. Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on your order weight and delivery address. Depending on your location, you may be offered up to three delivery options, including Free Pick-Up for Perth customers.

Live shipping rates and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. Shipping costs and delivery timeframes may vary depending on your postcode, seasonal demand and courier availability. Please note: that Express Shipping refers to the courier's delivery speed only and does not prioritise your order through our production or dispatch process.

Standard Shipping

Standard Shipping is available to selected metro areas across Australia, as determined by our courier partners. Free Standard Shipping may be available for eligible postcodes. Orders are delivered via Toll. Shipping options and eligibility are automatically calculated at checkout based on your postcode. Regional and remote areas may experience longer delivery times and may not qualify for free shipping offers.

Express Shipping

Express Shipping applies to the courier delivery service only and does not reduce manufacturing, packing or dispatch times. Once dispatched, Express orders are prioritised by the courier network to ensure the fastest available delivery. Express Shipping orders are delivered via Northline and Team Global Express.

Collection / Pick-Up

Local collection is available from our Perth warehouse. Once your order has been fully paid, our Shipping Team will contact you to arrange a collection time. Collection is available Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm.

International Shipping

We ship worldwide through our international freight partners. To receive a customised shipping quote, please contact our team with the products you are interested in and your full delivery address.

Christmas Delivery Update 2025

Thank you for your incredible support this year. Demand for Funky Monkey Bars has exceeded all expectations.

Customers with existing orders will not be affected, and dispatch timelines remain unchanged.

Due to exceptionally high demand, new orders to NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, NT and ACT are expected to dispatch from late January to February. Split Deliveries

Some orders, particularly those sent via Express Dispatch T, may arrive in multiple shipments.This commonly occurs when larger and smaller cartons are processed separately within the courier network and can be more frequent during peak delivery periods.Where split deliveries occur, items may arrive several days apart. During busy periods such as Christmas, some shipments may experience additional delays.For the smoothest delivery experience, we recommend placing Christmas orders before September each year.

Shipping Complications

While we work closely with our courier partners, delivery services are provided by independent carriers.If an item is lost in transit or arrives damaged beyond repair, we will replace the affected item at no additional cost once assessed by our team.Minor cosmetic marks or scratches that occur during transit are not generally considered structural damage. Touch-up paint is available for all powder-coated frame colours.For accessories, our team will assess whether any marks or defects are the result of manufacturing or transit issues. If an accessory arrives with a significant cosmetic defect reported prior to installation, we may offer a replacement, store credit or gift card at our discretion. All claims are subject to assessment and approval by our team.

Late Deliveries

Delivery timeframes displayed at checkout are estimates provided by the selected courier. As delivery services are operated by independent carriers, we cannot guarantee delivery within a specific timeframe and are not liable for courier-related delays once an order has been dispatched.

Customer-Arranged Couriers

Customers are welcome to organise collection using their own courier service.Orders collected by a customer-arranged courier will be treated as a Free Pick-Up order. Returns & Refunds Policy

At Funky Monkey Bars, we want you to feel confident shopping with us. Please read the information below regarding returns, refunds, exchanges and order cancellations.

General Policy

Returns or exchanges must be requested within 30 days of purchase.

Items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned in the original packaging.

Proof of purchase is required for all returns.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind unless outlined under the cancellation policy below.

Non-Refundable Situations

We may refuse a refund or exchange if:

The item shows signs of use or installation.

The item is damaged, incomplete, or not in its original condition for reasons not due to our error.

The return request is made more than 30 days after delivery.

The item was purchased on sale or clearance (sale items are non-refundable).

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card provider — processing times can vary.
  3. Contact your bank, as refunds may take additional time to appear.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged.

To request an exchange, email info@funkymonkeybars.com. Our team will advise the correct return address for your state.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

Order Cancellations Before Dispatch

You may request a cancellation any time before your order is dispatched (before it has been collected by a courier).

  • Not yet picked/processed: Full refund issued.
  • Already picked and processed: A $200 restocking fee applies to cover preparation and handling costs.

Why is there a restocking fee? Once an order is placed, our team begins picking, packing and staging heavy, modular components for dispatch. The fee helps cover preparation, restocking and administrative costs involved in reversing the order.

Cancellations After Dispatch

Once an order has been dispatched, it is treated as a change-of-mind return.

  • Items must be returned unused, unopened and in original packaging.
  • A $200 restocking fee applies.
  • Return freight costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Christmas Dispatch Notice (Eastern States Orders)

For new orders to NSW, VIC, SA, QLD, NT & ACT placed after 25 November 2025, 3:00pm WST, dispatch is estimated from late January 2026.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept this dispatch timeframe and understand that Christmas delivery cannot be guaranteed for these orders.

Existing orders and all Western Australia orders remain unaffected and will dispatch as scheduled.

Your Consumer Rights

This policy operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If a product is faulty, not as described, or does not meet consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.
