Christmas Dispatch Update

Hi everyone, Colin here — owner and founder of Funky Monkey Bars.

As we head into the busiest and most exciting time of the year, I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for your incredible support. The interest in Funky Monkey Bars over the past few months has been nothing short of overwhelming. We’ve always been proud of the backyard fun we help create, but this year, demand has exceeded even our most ambitious expectations.

Before I go any further, I want to reassure all customers with existing orders — your dispatch timelines will not be impacted. We are continuing to manufacture and fulfil these orders as scheduled.

 

 

An Unexpected Surge in Demand

In the lead-up to Christmas, we’ve experienced an unexpected increase in orders that has outpaced our manufacturing capacity. While this is a challenge we're tackling head-on, it does mean we’ve had to adjust our shipping timelines for new purchases heading to the Eastern States — including New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, Northern Territory, ACT and Tasmania.

Unfortunately, new orders destined for the Eastern States will not be dispatched until late January. We know this may be disappointing for families hoping for a Christmas delivery, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep up with demand without compromising on the quality you expect from us.

 

 

Western Australian Orders Unaffected

For our Western Australian customers, the good news is that dispatch will continue as normal. To ensure your orders arrive before Christmas, please get them in before the order cut-off dates, outlined below. 

Order Cut-Off Dates for Western Australia

  • Regional WA: December 15

  • Metro WA: December 23

If you're in WA and placing an order within these timeframes, your delivery will make it out in time for Christmas.

 

 

Promotions Still Running & Golden Rung Extended

Despite the dispatch changes for the Eastern States, all of our seasonal promotions and discounts will continue as planned:

  • The Golden Rung Competition: In light of the dispatch delays, we’re extending the competition to ensure fairness for all customers. Orders dispatched up until the end of Jan will go in the running. Specifically, the ‘New Year dispatch’ option at check out will still go into the running. 

     

  • Black Friday: Still active and running strong. Any orders placed during this period will go in the running for the Golden Rung competition. 

  • Boxing Day Sale: With the urgency of Christmas deliveries behind us we'll be getting back into the swing of things with a boxing day promo code, with orders being dispatched towards the end of Jan.
