The 173-D Swivel Fitting is designed for situations where fixed-angle fittings aren’t suitable, allowing you to create connections at variable or unconventional angles.

This makes it ideal for custom builds, uneven layouts, or complex configurations where standard 90° or fixed fittings cannot achieve the desired alignment.

The swivel joint enables flexibility during installation, while the robust malleable iron construction ensures durability in outdoor environments.

The fitting is supplied as a pre-assembled unit, with the swivel connection riveted in place for reliability. (Components can also be supplied separately if required.)

Important Installation & Safety Notes

• The through tube (angled/sloping tube) cannot pass through the fitting

• Designed as a terminating connection (butt joint)

• Not suitable for lateral load-bearing applications

• Should not be used as the primary structural fitting in a frame
