At the start of October, we launched our 'Go Bananas to WIN' Competition where we asked the magic question: 

Using your imagination, tell us a story (in 25 words or less). How you would create the most amazing Backyard Jungle for play and fitness. What would you include; slithering snakes, snapping crocodiles, wild bananas…?

Our favourite entry would then win The Lemur V2 by Funky Monkey Bars (plus delivery) valued at $2,800. 

With thousands of amazing, creative, funny and adventurous entries to read, our Funky team were given the very difficult task of choosing just ONE winner... and that was Emily-Kate Gundry from NSW with this entry:

“Secret underground tunnels, curious caves and sandstone boulders reach the summit! Soar through the jungle, let go of the rope, SPLASH into the chocolate lake!”

Emily says, "I, the mum of three imaginative boys, was the creator of this magical play space. I was inspired by my boys love for natural environments and chocolate, and their love of climbing and swinging.

Winning the Lemur V2 will mean many opportunities for our three energetic boys (aged 10, 7 and 5) to burn off their never ending energy! This prize will make our boys' Christmas and we are very grateful to Funky Monkey Bars. Thank you!"
