We are welcoming 2022 with open arms as the Summer holidays continue. Summer really is the best time of the year to ditch the screens and hang out with loved ones.

The long days and warm evenings make playing outdoors perfect, especially with Funky Monkey Bars. Check out these Summer activities to try in your own backyard with family and friends this school holidays.

 

GARDEN PICNIC PARTY

Get the household together for a picnic in the yard. Work together to create delicious snacks, set up a blanket and cushions, and relax the warm evening away.

 

 

 

SPRINKLERS!

You can't go wrong with sprinklers. Grab your togs and sunscreen, and create your own water park adventure in your own backyard. Run, dodge and jump through the cool water - a perfect cool-off activity after a long day on the monkey bars.

 

 

 

GREEN THUMB FUN

Plant seedlings and off-cuts from leftover fruit and vegetables in the backyard. Teach the kids about what grows best in which season and how to care from the new plants - it will be super exciting for everyone when they start to grow!

 

 

OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT 

Grab a projector and attach a bed sheet to the outside of your monkey bars, on a wall or between two trees to create an outdoor movie set-up. Don't forget the beanbags and popcorn!
